Nordic Naturals Magnesium Glycinate

A hard training day can leave your legs tight and twitchy at night, and sweat losses on top of a diet that's already short on magnesium make that harder to shake. Magnesium Glycinate delivers 250mg of a highly absorbable, glycine-bound magnesium built to support muscle relaxation, heart function, and sleep without the digestive upset some magnesium forms cause.

Gentle on digestion, unlike cheaper forms – Glycinate is chelated to the amino acid glycine, which is why it's easier on your stomach than magnesium oxide or citrate, forms known for causing loose stools when taken at an effective dose.

Supports muscle relaxation and heart function – Magnesium plays a direct role in muscle contraction and relaxation and in maintaining healthy heart rhythm, both relevant after a training load that draws down your stores.

Supports normal sleep and a balanced stress response – The glycine component is tied to calming neurotransmitter activity, which is part of why this form is commonly used for sleep and stress support rather than just general mineral coverage.

Magnesium is involved in over 300 enzymatic reactions in the body, including the ones tied to muscle function, cellular energy production, and nervous system regulation, and most people don't get enough of it from diet alone. Glycinate's chelated form means more of it actually gets absorbed instead of passing through unused, which is the main reason Nordic Naturals uses this form over magnesium oxide or citrate.

How to Use Magnesium Glycinate

Dose: Three capsules daily, with food, or as directed by your healthcare professional.

Taking it in the evening is a common approach if sleep support is your main reason for using it, though it doesn't require a time of day.
