Not every vitamin in this formula uses the fully active form. Riboflavin and B6 each combine a smaller amount of the active form (riboflavin 5'-phosphate and pyridoxal 5'-phosphate) with a larger amount of the standard form (plain riboflavin and pyridoxine HCl), while B12 and folate are entirely in their active forms. B vitamins work together across cellular energy production, red blood cell formation, and nervous system function, which is the rationale for a broad complex rather than isolating just one or two.

How to Use Thorne B-Complex #12

Dose: Take one capsule one to three times daily, or as recommended by your health-care practitioner.

Note: Check your combined totals before adding this on top, since this complex already includes each of those vitamins, just partially in standard form for two of them.

The folate in this product is not recommended alongside methotrexate cancer therapy, though it has not been shown to interfere with methotrexate's use for psoriasis or rheumatoid arthritis. Consult your healthcare practitioner before use if pregnant, nursing, or taking any medication.
